Antioxidants Defend Reproductive Organs and Fertility: An Introduction

blueberries-65648_1280 Antioxidants have been all the rage for the last few years. I am constantly hearing newscasters report on the power of antioxidants to prevent this disease or that disease. Magazine articles tout their ability to slow down aging either by including them in one's diet or by slathering antioxidant filled creams on one's skin. Medical professionals tell their patients to eat foods rich in them to reverse this condition or that condition.

Antioxidants have become the new cure all. Because they are clearly so important I really want to thoroughly address what they are, how they work, and where they are found. Of course their role in fertility and pregnancy will take centerstage. We will look at all the details in posts to come.
