Yoga for Your Cycle | Yoga for the Menstrual Phase

I’ve received a lot of questions about which yoga poses to do for the different phases of your menstrual cycle. So I created a four-part video series to guide you through your cycle with yoga to support you. I hope each of these videos helps you connect more fully to your body and cycle.

First up, yoga for the menstrual phase. I often think of the menstrual phase (the first day of your period until the last day) as the winter of the cycle. It might feel like the end, but it’s really just the beginning. It’s in letting go, shedding what built up over the previous cycle, that you set the stage for what’s to come.

Each of these poses was chosen to provide relief from tension, encourage downward flow, and nourish you.
