Now I'm excited to say that we're 6 weeks pregnant.

How did you find Kendra/ Live Fertile?

I was looking for a Black woman nutritionist to help with fertility.

Before finding Kendra/ Live Fertile, what were your symptoms (if any)?

I didn't have any symptoms but i'd had a partial oopherectomy a year before we were ready to conceive. While the surgery and recovery went very well I was still apprehensive about whether i'd have fertility issues especially being in my early 30s. Overall I'd say I was still getting used to my new body and anxious about not being able to conceive naturally

What about Kendra/ Live Fertile’s content resonated with you?

I liked that she wasn't about just counting calories and restricting yourself, neither was she focusing solely on nutrition to get you pregnant. She really emphasizes a holistic approach to your body and mind and helps you learn how to cultivate a fertile life and body irregardless of whether or not you conceive.

What specific benefits have you experienced that you would attribute (at least in part) to Live Fertile's content?

I became much more confident in my body and more gracious to my body and I learned ways to eat that are sustainable. Both of these helped me to enjoy the process of trying to conceive a baby for myself and with my husband, and now i'm excited to say that we're 6 weeks pregnant.

If you were recommending Kendra/ Live Fertile to a good friend or a family member, what would you say to them?

Kendra is like having a champion and friend in your corner who just happens to have a lot of expertise. If you're struggling to enjoy this part of your journey, give Kendra a try!
